Well this is a real piece of history.

Research places this one in 1916. This is an original that is 120 years old and in amazing condition.  We were able to locate it in our 1915 1916 catalog and the picture from there is here for reference and is not included in the sale.  

This is an embroidery transfer for a pillow design for The International Order of Odd Fellow's . I. O. O. F. The motif features the letters FLT which stood for Faith, Love and Truth. The axes are battle axes. The Bible is shown on the top of the motif.

The finished pillow measure 17 inches but you could add more margin to increase the size We dated it by finding it in our collection of catalogs and I believe this catalog is from about 1916.

The picture is here for reference and is not included in the sale. The design is classic and the condition could not be better. The transfer itself looks like it just came home from the store The envelope is really nice for the age of the piece, only showing a little soil and edge wear. The transfer is pristine.
