Original 1933 New York Pattern No. 158 for a ladies' and misses' separate skirt and jacket in Size 16 (34" Bust, 37" Hip). The four-piece circular skirt is pressed in inverted plaits at the front and closes at the left side, worn with a jacket that may be made with an attached collar - shown in the illustration with a fur collar - or left plain without one. Factory Folded and Unused.

Design
This separate skirt and jacket is cut from twelve pattern pieces. The four-piece circular skirt is pressed in inverted plaits at the front for soft fullness through the hem and closes at the left side seam, finishing about 1¾ yards wide at the lower edge in a size 16. The jacket may be made with an attached collar, shown in one illustrated version trimmed in fur, or left without a collar for a plainer look. Set-in, dart-fitted sleeves give a close, tailored fit through the arm, while inset pockets and a removable belt round out the jacket's practical, wearable design.
