Original 1933 Our Own Pattern No. 144, produced by the New York Pattern Company under its "Our Own" trade name, for a ladies' and misses' blouse. The blouse closes under the left arm, with a deep square opening in front filled by a square inset and an attached lapped-over vestee. The lower edge is gathered into a two-piece peplum, and both long and short raglan sleeves are provided on the same pattern. Factory Folded and Unused.

Design
Our Own 144 is built from nine pattern pieces: back, front, vestee, inset, short sleeve, long sleeve, cuff, back of peplum, and front of peplum. The front opens in a deep square cut, filled by a separate square inset and topped with a lapped-over vestee, which may be made single or double for a bit more visual weight at the chest. The lower edge of the blouse is gathered into a two-piece peplum, giving it a soft flare at the hip. Raglan sleeves are provided in both long and short versions - the long sleeve finishing in its own cuff, also single or double - so a single pattern serves for cooler and warmer weather alike. The blouse closes under the left arm.
