Design
This girls' slip-on dress is cut from nine pattern pieces. The waist front is gathered at the shoulders and slashed through the center front for an opening, finished with a ribbon bow and streamers tacked at the neckline. An attached two-piece circular skirt is gathered at the top and topped with a two-piece peplum, sewn to the waist for a soft, layered silhouette. The dress can be made with long, dart-fitted sleeves finished with a cuff, or sewn sleeveless. The collar is trimmed with lace edging for a finishing touch.
