Original 1933 Our Own Pattern No. 104 for a ladies' and misses' dress that closes under the left arm. The waist has lapped-over fronts finished with an attached collar and long set-in sleeves perforated for a shorter sleeve option, while a three-piece circular skirt with a yoke top is attached to the waist under a removable belt. Factory Folded and Unused, with its original glassine outer envelope included, a little worn.

Design
This wrap-effect dress closes under the left arm, its lapped-over fronts finished with a row of covered buttons that trace the diagonal closing down toward the hip - a detail the envelope's own illustration makes the centerpiece of the design, paired with a matching self-fabric belt closed by a round buckle. Long set-in sleeves gather softly at the wrist and are perforated for a shorter sleeve if preferred. Below the waist, a three-piece circular skirt is built with its own yoke top rather than being set directly into the waistband, giving a smoother line over the hip before the skirt flares toward the hem. Nine pieces total.
A Moment in Fashion History
The diagonal wrap-front closing seen here - with its long row of buttons following the line of the wrap - was a favorite device of the early 1930s for adding visual interest without extra seaming, letting a single closure double as the dress's main decorative element.
