Design
This is the shirtwaist formula at its most classic: a button-front bodice with a crisp turn-down collar, gathered into a full skirt built from side-front, side-back, and back panels for real volume. A self belt marks the natural waist. View A dresses it up with three-quarter sleeves and a full row of seven buttons; View B keeps things simpler with short cuffed sleeves and three buttons. As a Half Sizes pattern, the proportions - shorter back waist length, fuller bust and hip allowances - are cut differently from standard Misses' sizing, built for a mature figure rather than adjusted after the fact.
