Design

McCall 6992 is an "Instant" cut pattern - printed as a single one-piece sheet, pinned directly to fabric per the cutting layout rather than cut along traditional printed lines. View A dresses the boyfriend doll in a set-in-sleeve suit with shirt, bow tie, and felt shoes. View B is a midriff bridal gown with a beaded lace overlay and gathered train skirt, worn with a matching cap, long veil, and lace mitts. View C is a ball gown with a beaded bodice, unmounted sleeves, a pleated bell skirt, and a tailored sash. View D is a strapless ball gown finished with ruffled lace. View E is an A-line skimmer with a low-cut back. View F is a strapless bridal gown with a puffed-sleeve lace bolero and short veil. Views B and F share a non-woven interfacing foundation; panties are included for Views B and D. Suggested remnant fabrics are black and white cotton broadcloth for the evening suit, and taffeta, satin, or silk faille for the gowns.
