Design

McCall 6465 offers a full wardrobe cut in twenty-five pieces. View A is a floral playsuit pairing a tie-side pinafore top with contrast panties. View B is a set of eyelet-trimmed pajamas closing with a satin ribbon neck bow. View C is a sheer party dress over a cotton satin petticoat and lining, trimmed in flat lace and finished with a wide satin sash, worn with matching panties. View D is a checked dress with a contrast collar and eyelet-trimmed hem, paired with a triangular kerchief and panties, the dress lined with an organdy petticoat and bodice lining and trimmed in rick rack braid. View E rounds out the wardrobe with a fold-over-braid-trimmed coat and matching hat closing with brass buttons. Suggested fabrics include wash cottons and synthetics, cotton flannel for the pajamas, silk, cotton, or nylon organdy over opaque fabric for the party dress, and wool, velveteen, corduroy, heavy cotton, or synthetic for the coat. Not suitable for diagonal prints or weaves.
