Design
Advance 9946 builds a full cold-weather outfit around an easy swing coat, cut with a full back and gently flared body for room to move over layers underneath. A soft round collar and patch pockets finish the coat, which closes with a simple button front and can be made with an optional wool interlining for real warmth. View 1 pairs the coat with matching suspender-front pants, cut with a front suspender panel rather than a waistband for comfortable, secure wear on an active toddler. Both views include a matching lined bonnet with a brimmed crown, tied with ribbon beneath the chin. Interfacing at the coat front and collar gives the whole set enough structure to hold its shape.
