Design

Simplicity 3180 presents a sweet, party-ready silhouette for a young girl, built around a back-buttoned bodice with a high round neckline and short puffed sleeves. Inside tucks at the back waistline shape the fit, while a dirndl skirt is joined to the bodice with a welt seam. Long tie ends extending from the side seams form a bow at the back for a finished, festive touch. Two style options are offered: Style 1 trims the shaped front yoke and circles the skirt with horizontal pin tucks, with lace edging the yoke seam, sleeves, and neckline; Style 2 bands the yoke with a self-ruffle in a contrasting fabric. Matching brief panties, fitted with elastic casings at the waist and legs, complete the set.
