Design

Advance Pattern 9211 is a little girl's wardrobe in miniature, full of the details of late-1950s children's fashion. View 1 is a shirtwaist dress with a button front, a small collar, short sleeves, and a full gathered skirt banded in rows of baby rick rack. It comes with a matching babushka, a triangular head scarf tied under the chin, and a set of undies: an elastic-waist petticoat and panties. View 2 is a bolero dress in contrasts, with a plain collared bodice over a full skirt and belt in plaid or check, topped by a short bolero. View 3 has a blouse-and-skirt look: a rick rack-trimmed bodice with a full suspender skirt buttoned at the straps. View 4 is a princess coat with a round collar, button front, and a full, flaring skirt. View 5 is a suit, a button-front jacket with a pleated skirt edged in fringe, finished with a matching cap.
