Don’t miss the very rare and totally fun 1940s Manikin patterns from Butterick made for the Singer Manikin Doll. The cool thing about these patterns is that they echo the fashions of the day. The dolls came in sizes from 12.50 to 15 inches. This one is sized for a 14 inch doll.
Many of the companies had dolls and patterns that were aimed at a your girl and the fashions were like the clothes they wore. Peggy was the McCall version. Simplicity also had them in 1940s and called them Mannequin Patterns and they all have matching patterns in girl sizes.
