1940s and 1950s Original Workbasket Embroidery Transfer 60
Uncut and Unused
This transfer is Workbasket 60. These classic red line transfers were either ordered from or pulled out of Workbasket Magazines. Workbasket Magazine was first published by the Aunt Martha company in October 1935, it has gone through many eras and formats but lasted up into the 1990s.
These transfers were released over and over again throughout the years, there is just no way to date them. The heyday of Workbasket was the 1940s and 1950s but your specific transfer could be from the 30s, 40s, 50s or 60s. One of the very great things about workbasket transfer is that they packed a whole bunch of projects on each sheet.
Here is a roundup of the many projects for Workbasket #60 Baby Bib
Flowers for Aprons and More
Leaves for Luncheon Cloths
2 Monogram Alphabets Garden Girl Pillowcase
*a note on condition...everyone of these transfers we sell is uncut and unused, however these are stock photos, there may be small variations (tiny staple holes and the like) between the transfer you see and one you get.
