1930s Vintage Betty Burton Embroidery Transfer Uncut Patriotic Eagle Poem
Vintage 1930s Betty Burton Embroidery Transfers
Uncut Sampler or Wall Hanging Transfer
for an " Breathes A Man " Â Poem
This is a wonderful vintage hot iron transfer from the Betty Burton Transfer Pattern Company.
I think this is from the 1930s. This transfer has a poem with the most wonderful eagle and flag.  The poem reads
"Breathes there a man
with should so dead
Who never to himself hath said
This is my own, my native landÂ

Betty Burton produced this pattern and it was sold through Sears.  It is uncut and unused with a bit of weakness at the corners of the fold but totally untorn an uncut and ready to use.Â
