This is a wonderful collection of digital scans from our collection. We are working towards an entire series of these digitial pattern catalogs. The advantage of getting this magazine digitially is that we save each page with the pattern numbers

On our computer these images form a database that we can use file finder to bring up the catalog picture of the pattern we are researching.

I am only at the beginning of this massive undertaking, for years we looked these up by hand. Having the catalog picture of an old pattern really allows you to see the dress as the designer intended. Plus the graphics are superb...and I have done comprehensive copyright research, so you can be sure these images are copyright free.


This download contains pages from the Simplicity Magazine July and August 1933. It is only the pages with pattern pictures not ads or articles. The catalog was originally entered into copyright in 1933, it was not renewed in its 28th year and entered into the public domain in 1961. While the catalog and the pictures within are copyright free, these scans represent my work. You may use the pictures for your projects but you can not resell these scans.
