From hard to find Millinery Course
(We have the Whole Set for Sale)

This book is one of a large series of correspondence school textbooks starting in 1916 and going into the late 1920s. These fantastic sewing books were published by the Woman's Institute of Domestic Arts & Sciences founded by Mary Brooks Picken. This book comes from a rare set of Millinery books that are extremely hard to find especially in this condition. Mary Brooks Picken was the most prolific sewing teacher and writer of all time. In addition to this series she also wrote the best how to sew guide book produced by Singer. All told she wrote 96 books on sewing. She also taught "Economics of Fashion" at Columbia University.

Each Woman's Institute Book is a small 5 1/2 by 8 1/2 Inch booklet. This one has 28 pages and is a 1920 edition from a rare Millinery Course set of books. This set had 25 books and I have them all available for sale. The condition is very nice with no flaws that I see.
