1960s Vintage Jacboean Crewel Motifs Uncut Aunt Martha Embroidery Transfer 3602
Traditional Jacobean Crewel Designs
Factory Folded and Unused Printed in Red Ink
This is a stunning large transfer done in the crewel style. I just love these transfers, they look amazing at the end. This one is unmarked and did not come in an envelope. On the transfer, it is marked Aunt Martha 3602. This transfer is printed in red ink on thick newsprint.
This is a nifty peek into the closets of the past. It features a classic crewel Jacobean motifs but with a 1960s flare to make the perfect antique style pillow or other project.
I researched the crewel or Jacobean designs and found that crewel has been done since the dark ages and was very popular in Victorian times.
