Design

Advance Pattern 5002 dresses a doll for the most special day and for every day around it. View 1 is the wedding dress: a fitted bodice with a ruffle-edged yoke, long sleeves, and a ruffled peplum at the waist, over a full gathered skirt that sweeps into a train finished with a ruffled hem. A net veil and a small tiara complete the bridal look. View 2 pairs a tailored suit with a lace-edged slip and panties. The suit has a collared, button-front jacket with long sleeves and a flared skirt with a belt, topped by a matching tam with a ribbon headband. View 3 is a full-length, button-front housecoat with short puffed sleeves and two patch pockets, trimmed in rick rack at the neckline and pocket tops. The envelope suggests snaps for closing the dress, underwear, suit, and housecoat, along with buttons and ribbon for the tam. A ½" seam allowance is included throughout.
