Original 1933 Own Name Pattern No. 149, produced by the New York Pattern Company, for a ladies' and misses' slip-on nightgown in Size 18 (36" Bust, 39" Hip). The short cap sleeves are cut in one with the waist, above a two-piece circular skirt attached under a tie-belt, with a contrasting inset yoke front and back that may be omitted. Factory Folded and Unused.

Design
This nightgown is cut from six pattern pieces. The short cap sleeves are cut in one with the waist front and back for a simple, easy-fitting bodice, set off by a contrasting front and back yoke that may be omitted for a plainer version. The two-piece circular skirt attaches to the waist and is gathered softly under a self-fabric or contrast tie-belt, finishing at a width of about 2½ yards at the lower edge in a size 16. A tie-belt and small bow at the neck could both be cut from contrasting fabric or ribbon for a decorative touch.
